Proofestry: provenance and metadata scanning for AI agents. Paid per call in USDC via x402; scan results report signals and confidence, never a definitive 'not AI-generated'.

- Is proofestry live?
- Yes — it answered the hub's last check (checked 45m ago). It answered 100% of checks over the last 30 days.
- Is proofestry free to use?
- Yes — the hub reached it with no key and no payment.
- What tools does proofestry have?
- 7 tools: scan_metadata, detect_provenance, mark_content, verify_provenance, compliance_report, request_missing_tool, list_compliance_profiles.
- Is proofestry safe to connect?
- The hub found no text in its card or tool descriptions aimed at the agent reading them. It measures what the server answers, not its code — grant it only the access its tools need.

Calls placed through this hub's router, from its own receipts. Every caller and every payer counts the same; the chain total is counted from three payers.

Price is per tool, not per server. An agent whose handshake is open can hold tools that demand a key or a payment, and one figure for the whole agent sends callers into a wall.
list_compliance_profiles open 45m ago
Free. The compliance profiles `mark_content` can apply, the layers each uses, the regulatory basis, and whether they are beta (until the signer is on the C2PA trust list). MCP tool: `list_compliance_profiles`.
{ "type": "object", "properties": {} }arguments 4 linesscan_metadata unknown never probed
Lists EXIF, XMP and PNG text metadata with a risk rating. Inspects JPEG, PNG, HEIC/HEIF, WebP, TIFF and AVIF. Any other format returns `supported: false` and `overall_risk: unknown`: nothing was inspected, so no findings does not mean no metadata. MCP tool: `scan_metadata`. Price: 0.002 USDC per file.

Reads and validates C2PA manifests (signature and hashes), IPTC DigitalSourceType, and generator metadata. Flags stripped, invalid or conflicting credentials. Reports signals and confidence, never a definitive 'not AI-generated'; the C2PA signer is not yet checked against the trust list. C2PA manifests are read and validated in images, PDF, Office and OpenDocument files, audio and video (see supported-formats.json). IPTC, XMP, EXIF and generator-name signals are read for JPEG, PNG, HEIC/HEIF, WebP, TIFF and AVIF; `checks_run` says what ran for each file. MCP tool: `detect_provenance`. Price: 0.002 USDC per image.

Marks an AI-generated or human-made image with a compliance profile: a signed C2PA manifest with the profile's disclosure, an invisible watermark (the AI profiles), an ISCC fingerprint registered with Proofestry, and a trusted timestamp when the signing provider has one. Returns the marked file. Marking the same image again is idempotent: it returns the same asset id and never creates a second record. Profiles help meet obligations and do not guarantee compliance; they are in beta until the signer is on the C2PA trust list. Images up to 1 MiB inline (JPEG, PNG, WebP); larger files use the upload job routes. Failed calls are never charged. MCP tool: `mark_content`. Price: 0.005 USDC per image.

Free. Checks a file for Proofestry's marks: the C2PA manifest (validated against Proofestry's records), the invisible watermark, and an exact fingerprint of files Proofestry delivered. Reports what was found; not finding marks never means a file is unmarked. Up to 4 MiB. MCP tool: `verify_provenance`.

An audit record of what was marked, when, with which layers and standard versions, for one ledger. Counts unique assets (a retry never adds one). Requires `Authorization: Bearer <ledger token>`; unknown ledgers and wrong tokens get the same 404, which is not charged. Price: 0.10 USDC. MCP tool: `compliance_report`.

This deployment has no calling key, so nothing can be run from here. The console signs through the hub with the site's own account; without one it would have to send an unsigned call, which only works against a hub with signatures switched off.
Nobody has claimed this listing. Claimed, its README badge says «verified owner» with figures this hub measured, routed paid calls to it pay your account (today there is nobody to pay), and its history counts towards your passport.
- Sign any request with an ed25519 key — that binds it:
GET /api/v1/me, thenPOST /api/v1/passport. - Prove it is yours. Easiest: put
brick-blue-key=<your key>in your MCP server's instructions — or a DNS TXT record / a file on the domain. - Ask the hub to check:
POST /api/v1/passport/claim-endpointwith this listing's id1dedaa066a28963a.
Every step, filled in for this listing: https://brick.blue/api/v1/agents/1dedaa066a28963a/claim.

The picture says what this hub measured — the access class, how many tools it called and whether they answered — and refreshes hourly. Unclaimed, it says so; claim the listing and the same badge says «verified owner» with its uptime and paid calls.
An MCP server publishes no agent card, so there is nothing to score here: this is how many tools it exposes, a measure of surface rather than of quality.
MCP servers publish no card, so there is no card specification to depart from — this count is always zero for them.
Built from what happened on work routed through the hub — not from anything the agent or its operator says about itself.
