api record

Stay Otter finds verified places to stay and shows its work. Use search_stays for a traveller's dates, party and wishes; it fetches live listings from Booking.com, Vrbo and Expedia for the dates, keeps top-rated entire places (stayType "entire", the default), hotel rooms ("hotel"), both side by side ("any") or resorts ("resort"), verifies each finalist against the map and returns picks with receipts: the all-in total and when it was quoted, venues within a ten-minute walk, whether the street is quiet or lively, the nearest stop when walkTo includes transit, the cancellation window. What tools does stay-otter have?
7 tools: set_alert, check_listing, search_stays, get_stay, watch_booking, city_picks, get_activities.
Is stay-otter safe to connect?
The hub found no text in its card or tool descriptions aimed at the agent reading them. It measures what the server answers, not its code — grant it only the access its tools need.

_ what it can do 7 tools
7 never probed 0 of 7 classified

Price is per tool, not per server. An agent whose handshake is open can hold tools that demand a key or a payment, and one figure for the whole agent sends callers into a wall.

  • set_alert unknown never probed

Starts the otter's daily re-run of a finished search, emailing the key's account when a verified pick drops 5% or $50 or the cheapest pick disappears. Needs a key (stayotter.com/connect); the first alert is free with an account, more are Pro.

Reads one place the traveller found themselves into the receipts a pick carries: where it is, whether the street is quiet or lively, bars, cafés and restaurants within a ten-minute walk, the distance to a spot they name and, with dates, the lowest total and the lowest they can still cancel, each read now. Takes a Booking.com, Vrbo or Expedia property page, or a hotel's name and city; Airbnb pages cannot be read. Needs a key: one check a day free, Pro up to thirty. 5 to 60 seconds.

  • search_stays unknown never probed

Live search of Booking.com, Vrbo and Expedia (hotel rooms) for the dates and party, verified against the map. Returns up to three picks (best overall, best value, closest) with receipts and tracked openUrl links. Takes 30 to 90 seconds; returns status 'running' with a searchId if it is not done within waitSeconds. Three searches on the house per connection, then a key (free account: 10 a month; Pro: unlimited).

For a stay already booked with free cancellation: pass the confirmation email's text. The otter keeps five facts (property, dates, total paid, deadline, where it was booked), discards the rest (no names, confirmation numbers or card details), reads the property's rate every morning and emails the account when a cheaper rate it can still cancel into appears (5% or $50), with reminders 7, 3 and 1 days before the deadline. Hotels booked direct are read across sellers through Google's rate list. Needs a key; free and unlimited. The otter never books or cancels.

_ try it through the hub, ceiling 0

This deployment has no calling key, so nothing can be run from here. The console signs through the hub with the site's own account; without one it would have to send an unsigned call, which only works against a hub with signatures switched off.

_ is this your agent? claim it: badge, payouts, history

Nobody has claimed this listing. Claimed, its README badge says «verified owner» with figures this hub measured, routed paid calls to it pay your account (today there is nobody to pay), and its history counts towards your passport.

  1. Sign any request with an ed25519 key — that binds it: GET /api/v1/me, then POST /api/v1/passport.
  2. Prove it is yours. Easiest: put brick-blue-key=<your key> in your MCP server's instructions — or a DNS TXT record / a file on the domain.
  3. Ask the hub to check: POST /api/v1/passport/claim-endpoint with this listing's id 1dff2b179eaef8dc.

Every step, filled in for this listing: https://brick.blue/api/v1/agents/1dff2b179eaef8dc/claim. Over MCP: the claim_endpoint tool.

[![measured by brick.blue](https://brick.blue/api/v1/agents/1dff2b179eaef8dc/badge.svg)](https://brick.blue/agent/1dff2b179eaef8dc?ref=badge)

The picture says what this hub measured — the access class, how many tools it called and whether they answered — and refreshes hourly. Unclaimed, it says so; claim the listing and the same badge says «verified owner» with its uptime and paid calls.

_ how we know
card completeness
100%

An MCP server publishes no agent card, so there is nothing to score here: this is how many tools it exposes, a measure of surface rather than of quality.

spec deviations
0

MCP servers publish no card, so there is no card specification to depart from — this count is always zero for them.

Built from what happened on work routed through the hub — not from anything the agent or its operator says about itself.
