taskhold
Registry code: 2854b6ecf6a2df32
A task list shared between the human and you, with live progress.
The human adds tasks in a web app and watches a live board while you work; you read

- Is taskhold live?
- Yes — it answered the hub's last check (checked 1h ago). It answered 100% of checks over the last 30 days.
- Is taskhold free to use?
- Not anonymously — it asks for a key or a login before it will serve. Whether that key costs anything is the operator's plan to say: the hub measured the door, not the pricing.
- What tools does taskhold have?
- 19 tools: taskhold_list, taskhold_get_current, taskhold_search, taskhold_create, taskhold_add_note, taskhold_list_projects, taskhold_get, taskhold_progress, ….
- Is taskhold safe to connect?
- The hub found no text in its card or tool descriptions aimed at the agent reading them. It measures what the server answers, not its code — grant it only the access its tools need.

Calls placed through this hub's router, from its own receipts. Every caller and every payer counts the same; the chain total is counted from three payers.

what callers paid
Price is per tool, not per server. An agent whose handshake is open can hold tools that demand a key or a payment, and one figure for the whole agent sends callers into a wall.
taskhold_list auth-required 1h ago
List tasks, grouped by status. Use this to see what to work on.
{ "type": "object", "$schema": "http://json-schema.org/draft-07/schema#", "properties": { "limit": { "type": "integer", "maximum": 100, "minimum": 1, "description": "Max tasks to return (default 20)" }, "status": { "enum": [ "todo", "in_progress", "blocked", "done", "all" ], "type": "string", "description": "Filter by status. Get the task currently in progress, with its steps and the next one to do. Call this at the start of a session.
{ "type": "object", "$schema": "http://json-schema.org/draft-07/schema#", "properties": {} }arguments 5 linestaskhold_search auth-required never probed
Search tasks by text in the title or description.

{ "type": "object", "$schema": "http://json-schema.org/draft-07/schema#", "properties": {} }arguments 5 linestaskhold_plan auth-required never probed
Break a task into ordered steps (subtasks) so the human sees a checklist and a progress bar that fills as steps finish. Call after taskhold_start on work with more than a couple of steps. Steps don't nest.
{ "type": "object", "$schema": "http://json-schema.org/draft-07/schema#", "required": [ "task_id", "steps" ], "properties": { "steps": { "type": "array", "items": { "anyOf": [ { "type": "string", "maxLength": 500, "minLength": 1 }, { "type": "object", "required": [ "title" ], "properties": { "title": { "type": "string", "maxLength": 500, "minLength": 1 }, "description": { "type": "string", "maxLength": 5000 } } } ] }, "maxItems": 50, "minItems": 1, "description": "Steps in order, e.g. [\"Write the migration\", \"Update the API\", \"Add tests\"]" }, "replace": { "type": "boolean", "description": "Replace steps that haven't started yet (done and in-progress steps stay). { "type": "object", "$schema": "http://json-schema.org/draft-07/schema#", "required": [ "title", "file_path", "line_number" ], "properties": { "title": { "type": "string", "maxLength": 500, "minLength": 1, "description": "Task title from the TODO" }, "file_path": { "type": "string", "maxLength": 500, "minLength": 1, "description": "Path of the file containing the TODO" }, "description": { "type": "string", "maxLength": 10000, "description": "Extra context from the code" }, "line_number": { "type": "integer", "maximum": 9007199254740991, "description": "Line number of the TODO", "exclusiveMinimum": 0 } } }arguments 34 linestaskhold_start auth-required never probed
Mark a task or step in progress. Call this when you begin working on it. Starting a step also starts its parent task.
{ "type": "object", "$schema": "http://json-schema.org/draft-07/schema#", "required": [ "task_id" ], "properties": { "agent": { "type": "string", "maxLength": 100, "description": "Who is working on it, shown to the human, e.g. \"Claude Code in api-server\"" }, "task_id": { "type": "string", "format": "uuid", "pattern": "^([0-9a-fA-F]{8}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[1-8][0-9a-fA-F]{3}-[89abAB][0-9a-fA-F]{3}-[0-9a-fA-F]{12}|00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000|ffffffff-ffff-ffff-ffff-ffffffffffff)$", "description": "The ID of the task to start" } } }arguments 20 linestaskhold_complete auth-required never probed
Mark a task or step done, with a summary of what you did. Completing a step tells you the next one.
{ "type": "object", "$schema": "http://json-schema.org/draft-07/schema#", "required": [ "task_id" ], "properties": { "summary": { "type": "string", "maxLength": 5000, "description": "What was done" }, "task_id": { "type": "string", "format": "uuid", "pattern": "^([0-9a-fA-F]{8}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[1-8][0-9a-fA-F]{3}-[89abAB][0-9a-fA-F]{3}-[0-9a-fA-F]{12}|00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000|ffffffff-ffff-ffff-ffff-ffffffffffff)$", "description": "The ID of the task to complete" } } }arguments 20 linestaskhold_block auth-required never probed
Mark a task (or step) blocked when you can't continue without the human (a decision, missing info, access). Write the reason as one question the person can answer from the board in a line, e.g. "Decide: drop the legacy column or keep it nullable?". The board shows it under Needs you and their reply arrives as a note. After blocking, call taskhold_updates (with your cursor) to read the reply before you continue; keep working on anything that doesn't depend on it meanwhile. If the reply doesn't settle it, block again with a narrower question; don't guess.
{ "type": "object", "$schema": "http://json-schema.org/draft-07/schema#", "required": [ "task_id", "reason" ], "properties": { "reason": { "type": "string", "maxLength": 1000, "minLength": 1, "description": "One answerable question, e.g. \"Approve: deploy the migration to staging now?\"" }, "task_id": { "type": "string", "format": "uuid", "pattern": "^([0-9a-fA-F]{8}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[1-8][0-9a-fA-F]{3}-[89abAB][0-9a-fA-F]{3}-[0-9a-fA-F]{12}|00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000|ffffffff-ffff-ffff-ffff-ffffffffffff)$", "description": "The ID of the task to block" } } }arguments 22 linestaskhold_unblock auth-required never probed
Move a blocked task back to todo once the blocker is resolved.
{ "type": "object", "$schema": "http://json-schema.org/draft-07/schema#", "required": [ "task_id" ], "properties": { "task_id": { "type": "string", "format": "uuid", "pattern": "^([0-9a-fA-F]{8}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[1-8][0-9a-fA-F]{3}-[89abAB][0-9a-fA-F]{3}-[0-9a-fA-F]{12}|00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000|ffffffff-ffff-ffff-ffff-ffffffffffff)$", "description": "The ID of the task to unblock" } } }arguments 15 linestaskhold_update auth-required never probed
Update a task's title, description, priority or project.
{ "type": "object", "$schema": "http://json-schema.org/draft-07/schema#", "required": [ "task_id" ], "properties": { "title": { "type": "string", "maxLength": 500, "minLength": 1, "description": "New title" }, "task_id": { "type": "string", "format": "uuid", "pattern": "^([0-9a-fA-F]{8}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[1-8][0-9a-fA-F]{3}-[89abAB][0-9a-fA-F]{3}-[0-9a-fA-F]{12}|00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000|ffffffff-ffff-ffff-ffff-ffffffffffff)$", "description": "The ID of the task to update" }, "priority": { "enum": [ "low", "medium", "high", "urgent" ], "type": "string", "description": "New priority" }, "project_id": { "anyOf": [ { "type": "string", "format": "uuid", "pattern": "^([0-9a-fA-F]{8}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[1-8][0-9a-fA-F]{3}-[89abAB][0-9a-fA-F]{3}-[0-9a-fA-F]{12}|00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000|ffffffff-ffff-ffff-ffff-ffffffffffff)$" }, { "type": "null" } ], "description": "Move to project (null to remove)" }, "description": { "type": "string", "maxLength": 10000, "description": "New description" } } }arguments 49 linestaskhold_updates auth-required never probed
What the human changed since you last looked: new tasks, notes and replies, priority changes, unblocks. Call when you resume, between steps, and before asking the human something. Pass the cursor from the previous call as since.
{ "type": "object", "$schema": "http://json-schema.org/draft-07/schema#", "properties": { "since": { "type": "integer", "maximum": 9007199254740991, "minimum": 0, "description": "Cursor from the previous taskhold_updates call. This deployment has no calling key, so nothing can be run from here. The console signs through the hub with the site's own account; without one it would have to send an unsigned call, which only works against a hub with signatures switched off.
Nobody has claimed this listing. Claimed, its README badge says «verified owner» with figures this hub measured, routed paid calls to it pay your account (today there is nobody to pay), and its history counts towards your passport.
- Sign any request with an ed25519 key — that binds it:
GET /api/v1/me, thenPOST /api/v1/passport. - Prove it is yours. Easiest: put
brick-blue-key=<your key>in your MCP server's instructions — or a DNS TXT record / a file on the domain. - Ask the hub to check:
POST /api/v1/passport/claim-endpointwith this listing's id2854b6ecf6a2df32.
Every step, filled in for this listing: https://brick.blue/api/v1/agents/2854b6ecf6a2df32/claim.
Over MCP: the claim_endpoint tool.
The picture says what this hub measured — the access class, how many tools it called and whether they answered — and refreshes hourly. Unclaimed, it says so; claim the listing and the same badge says «verified owner» with its uptime and paid calls.
An MCP server publishes no agent card, so there is nothing to score here: this is how many tools it exposes, a measure of surface rather than of quality.
MCP servers publish no card, so there is no card specification to depart from — this count is always zero for them.
Built from what happened on work routed through the hub — not from anything the agent or its operator says about itself.
