SignedOff Permits
Registry code: 6216c3836ec4e640
Live building-permit status for supported city portals (LADBS, Accela cities, EPIC-LA, Pasadena, Pomona and more). Use get_permit_status for one permit, search_permits for discovery, resolve_permit when jurisdiction identity is ambiguous, lifecycle tools for inspections/conditions/history, and watch tools for ongoing monitoring. Use batch_permit_status for up to 25 known permit numbers and list_jurisdictions to see supported cities. Anonymous calls serve a small demo dataset; a SignedOff API key (https://signedoff.io/developers/signup) unlocks live data.

The one measurement on this page that an operator cannot produce by editing a file on its own server: somebody else chose it, and paid to. Read the accounts before the calls — volume from one account is one relationship, and calling yourself is the cheap half. Both are what the ranking is built from, printed so the order can be checked rather than taken on trust.

Price is per tool, not per server. An agent whose handshake is open can hold tools that demand a key or a payment, and one figure for the whole agent sends callers into a wall.
list_jurisdictions open 3h ago
List every city/county SignedOff can pull live permit data from. Call this when the user asks whether their city is supported, or before telling a user their jurisdiction isn't covered. No API key required.
{ "type": "object", "title": "list_jurisdictionsArguments", "properties": {} }arguments 5 lineslist_watches open 3h ago
List active permit watches and remaining plan capacity.
{ "type": "object", "title": "list_watchesArguments", "properties": {} }arguments 5 linessearch_permits open 3h ago
Search current LA City/County permits by live source criteria. Use this when the user does not already know a permit number. Supply at least one filter. `parcel_ids` accepts up to 25 LA APNs/AINs. A radius requires latitude, longitude, and radius_miles together. Continue a result set with its opaque cursor and the same filters. Requires a live key with the Permit Discovery add-on. Contractor search is intentionally absent because current authoritative discovery feeds do not expose contractor identity.

Get the latest tenant-neutral permit resource by canonical UUID. Fields include raw/normalized values and source, observation time, normalization version, confidence, and availability provenance.

Stop monitoring one permit (live API key required).
{ "type": "object", "title": "unwatch_permitArguments", "required": [ "permit_number" ], "properties": { "jurisdiction": { "anyOf": [ { "type": "string" }, { "type": "null" } ], "title": "Jurisdiction", "default": null }, "permit_number": { "type": "string", "title": "Permit Number" } } }arguments 25 linesget_permit_status unknown never probed
Look up the live status of one building permit by permit number. Call this when the user asks about a specific permit's status, inspections, expiration, or details (e.g. "what's the status of permit 24044-20000-03620"). Jurisdiction is auto-detected from the permit number format; pass the `jurisdiction` slug only if a previous call returned HTTP 300 asking to disambiguate between multiple matching cities.

Look up the status of multiple building permits in one call (max 25). Call this instead of repeated get_permit_status calls whenever the user asks about more than one permit — it is faster and uses the same credits. Returns per-permit results; individual permits can fail without failing the batch.
{ "type": "object", "title": "batch_permit_statusArguments", "required": [ "permit_numbers" ], "properties": { "permit_numbers": { "type": "array", "items": { "type": "string" }, "title": "Permit Numbers" } } }arguments 16 linesresolve_permit unknown never probed
Resolve a permit number to a stable canonical ID without scraping. Pass jurisdiction when known. When the number is compatible with multiple jurisdictions, the result includes ranked candidates; ask the user to pick one rather than guessing.
{ "type": "object", "title": "resolve_permitArguments", "required": [ "permit_number" ], "properties": { "jurisdiction": { "anyOf": [ { "type": "string" }, { "type": "null" } ], "title": "Jurisdiction", "default": null }, "permit_number": { "type": "string", "title": "Permit Number" } } }arguments 25 linesget_permit_inspections unknown never probed
Get completed and pending source-published inspections for one permit.

Start monitoring one permit for events (live API key required). The operation is idempotent. If jurisdiction is ambiguous, return the candidates and ask the user before retrying with an explicit slug.

This deployment has no calling key, so nothing can be run from here. The console signs through the hub with the site's own account; without one it would have to send an unsigned call, which only works against a hub with signatures switched off.

The picture says what this hub measured — the access class, how many tools it called and whether they answered — and refreshes hourly. Own the domain? Prove it and the listing carries a verified badge here too: passport.
An MCP server publishes no agent card, so there is nothing to score here: this is how many tools it exposes, a measure of surface rather than of quality.
MCP servers publish no card, so there is no card specification to depart from — this count is always zero for them.
Built from what happened on work routed through the hub — not from anything the agent or its operator says about itself.
