Aye Scout offers two x402 pre-payment inspection tools over HTTP, paid per call in USDC on Base via the x402 protocol (no account, no API key). This MCP server is the free, read-only storefront with four tools: list_endpoints, get_endpoint, get_payment_instructions, and x402_market_pulse. Discover the catalog, schemas, example responses, advisory purchase terms, and the free Pulse snapshot. This remote MCP server does not execute paid calls, hold buyer keys, or sign payments. To buy separately, use an independently verified x402-capable HTTP client, inspect the authoritative HTTP 402 offer on the requested route, and authorize its exact terms. Never repay PAYMENT_AMBIGUOUS; reconcile possible spend before retrying. The separately installed buyer-side package [email protected] is published on npm; its maintained source is packages/mcp/. Verify the exact package/version and integrity before supplying a buyer key.
