Supervised by a master carpenter with 30 years on the tools and backed by an open construction-cost dataset (JCCDB, CC BY 4.0). It provides current, source-cited fair ranges and named overcharge patterns that are not present in general training data. Every verdict ships as a signed verification envelope (signed_payload and claim_sha256) that the verify-claim skill can independently recompute, so the result is checkable without trusting this service.
